Melamine in pet food, wheat gluten from China. [news]
This is a worring story on Reuters yesterday, that Melamine has been found in pet food, made with contaminated wheat gluten imported from China. 14 animals have died, mostly cats. No Chicken bones [news]
A friend of ours feeds street cats, she told us some well meaning but ignorent people had left chicken bones for the cats. She could not believe it. Someone once offered us fish bones for one of our cats, she had removed them from her husbands fish "in case he choked on them" we pointed out to her, "if you thought your husband would choke on them, can you imagine what it would do to our cat", I'm not really sure she understood, I would have thought it was obvious.
