Vaccinations
Vaccinations are usually necessary but those required will depend on the country you live in and whether your cat is an indoor/outdoor cat or just an indoor one. It is always best to consult your vet. There are some current worries about certain vaccinations because in a small percent of cases they can be the cause of sarcomas later on at the site of the vaccine! Try to find out about current ideas through a cat magazine.
